Christmas Celebration a Success

Dozens of families in Southeast Washington DC celebrated Christmas with games and gifts.

Dozens of families in Southeast Washington DC enjoyed the 2nd Annual Southeast Christmas Celebration on Saturday at Gateway DC. After enjoying games, music, and pizza, we heard an inspiring Christmas message from Steve Fitzhugh, former NFL player with the Denver Broncos.

The highlight of the day came when many accepted Christ as their personal Lord and Savior! Several came to church on the following Sunday.

At the end of the Celebration, each child and parent received gifts that were provided by the generosity of churches and donors. All of our volunteers pitched in whole-heartedly from beginning to end, making the Celebration an awesome success.
