Today is the Day!
This week, we were shocked with the news of the tragic helicopter crash which took the lives of Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, the Altobelli family, Christina Mauser, Ara Zobayan, and Sarah and Payton Chester. We pray for the families and all of those affected by the sudden deaths of loved ones.

The fact of the matter is that every day, we are surrounded by violence and unexpected events. When we wake up in the morning, we really have absolutely no idea how even the best-planned day is going to turn out. Just one incident can change our lives forever.
Are you ready? Are you ready for your life to be changed forever? It’s very hard to say, as we can’t predict our response or the impact of the day’s events. But check out the guys in the picture below. Do you see the Bible in the center? And do you see what they’re doing? If you have your life centered around the Word of God and are focused on consistent communication with the Father, then you have Someone who is always there to help you through even the worst day of your life. There’s no guarantee that it will be easy. But we can assure you that you will make it through when you know the “God on whom you can rely."
“You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely." Psalm 59:17 (NIV)

And, what’s more, if you have come to Christ, then you will be ready, should the day’s events take you home to live with Him.
Are you ready? If not, today is the day and now is the time. The next moment is not guaranteed.

“For he says, ‘I listened to you at the time of my favor. And the day when you needed salvation, I came to your aid.’ So can’t you see? Now is the time to respond to his favor! Now is the day of salvation!” 2 Corinthians 6:2 (TPT)
